Whether for a wedding, a baptism or a family reunion, the estate offers a magical venue in a location that promises the very essence of Provençal charm. Spread across three hectares of nature, you’ll find secret corners full of charm and mysteries that slowly reveal themselves: an ancient well, a wrought iron table in the shade of a berry tree, a vine pergola loaded with grapes, an old rambling Provençal ruin. Lou Calen is bursting with potential for your special occasion.
Jardin Secret Restaurant
Faithful to the luxury and charm of Lou Calen, the hotel estate’s main restaurant awaits. Behind the doors of a 200-year-old Provençal country house the menu expands beyond the classic codes of gastronomy with its generous dishes crafted by our chef, Benoît Witz. The Jardin Secret restaurant was recently awarded a Michelin Green Star for its action towards eco-responsible cuisine.

The Bistrot by Lou Calen
This bistrot welcome guests into its warm and casual atmosphere on its outdoor terrace among centuries-old olive trees or within its air-conditionned conservatory. Chef Fabien Haurat Nautet promises tasteful cuisine with flame-grilled dishes. He highlighting the freshest products from local producers.

O'Fadoli, pastis bar
At O’Fadoli, guests enjoy the amazing collection of pastis from all around France, as well as homemade aperitifs, artisanal spirits and a “finger food” menu. The terrace of this bar, that overlooks the main village square, offers the ideal vantage point for observing the bustle of Provençal life.

La Tuf microbrewery
This artisan brewery is set at the foot of the centuries-old hotel building and has a unique atmosphere with its large stainless steel vats and a monumental staircase under a limestone (tuf) stone vault. Its outdoor terrace is green and leafy and with its summer bar it is the ideal spot for large and busy gatherings. The beer is crafted with local seasonal fare such as quince, verbena, mimosa or fig and will be on offer alongside the festivities.

“La Farandole” event hall
With an area of 150m², this superb room can comfortably accommodate around a hundred people. Whether you want to create friendly or more intimate events, “La Farandole” fits every requirement. With its wave-shaped bar, its leather sofas, aits colourful murals, and its grand piano, this space has all that is necessary for a special event and sharing unforgettable moments with your loved ones.

“La Verrière” event hall
Bathed in light, “La Verrière” overlooks the cours Gambetta, the village square, and offers a breathtaking view of Cotignac. On the other side the doors open onto a large terrace with a view of the hotel estate gardens. The photovoltaic glass ceiling of the hall and its strikingly colourful reflections delight every visitor. This room can contain a large number of people.

Close your eyes, and imagine the sound of the cicadas, the wind passing through the pine wood forest and the olive trees, the smells of lavender and juniper, the bubbling water flowing all over the estate… In this true Provençal setting there are 34 unique rooms and suites on offer. From La Troglodyte, built from a rambling ruin dug into the tuf rock, to the Bastidon, with its traditional old stony architecture, to the Pigeonnier, with its circular building on three levels – each bedroom option promises its own exclusive experience. Most rooms have their own private terrace and a breathtaking view of the Maures hills in the distance or the imposing troglodyte cliff of Cotignac. Then, just opposite Lou Calen, La Falaise hotel offers an extension to the hotel’s capacity with its 9 rooms bathed in sunlight.
