La TUF

Microbrewery and friendly local bar in Cotignac

La TUF immerses its customers in the heart of the production of quality beer with local flavors. Within just a few years, this establishment has become an essential spot for beer lovers looking for a richly alternative and fun meeting place, thanks to its programme of live music concerts and festive events. Our beautiful leafy garden terrace is popular during the hot and sunny days, while for the rest of the year, everyone takes refuge within the building on the huge mezzanine floor and its comfy lounge: antique furniture, comfy sofas, graffiti on the walls, table football, darts, an arcade machine and board games.

La TUF is closed from January 13th to February 3rd.

A creative microbrewery

Independent microbrewery and craft beer pub, La TUF experiments with new recipes and brews beers using local seasonal flavours. Cotignac beer comes in eight classic recipes (Blonde, IPA, Triple, etc.) and stands out thanks to the regional’s fine flavours and our brewer’s great creativity. He considers every ingredient and dismisses nothing, especially the idea of drawing on the seasons to craft limited series of beer with quince, lemon, verbena, mimosa, fig, and more.

With bottles to take away or pints to enjoy on site, the beers are accompanied by snack plates and other foods prepared on site for special evenings, such as pizzas or even tacos.

A richly alternative and fun-filled programme

All year round, La TUF brings Cotignac to life with its programme of live music concerts, music quizzes, karaoke evenings, and other events of all kinds.

Upstairs is a large convivial space with comfortable sofas, a wood stove and walls designed and graffitied by our patrons themselves – and anyone who wants to immortalise their visit.

Stéphane and his team welcome you into the relaxed and fun atmosphere of this essential spot for locals and visitors looking for a good time.

Michele, le brasseur
Born in Tirano in northern Italy, Michele has always been curious to discover the world around him, and beyond. From the age of 18, he worked as a concierge in prestigious hotels in Monaco and Milan. It was during his long nights of active wakefulness at work that he discovered his true vocation – beer brewing. Driven by this growing passion, he began teaching himself the art of brewing at the age of 24, before joining the Beer University in Perugia to refine his knowledge and perfect his skills. He then started his first brewery in Tirano, in his grandmother’s former hotel-restaurant, which he managed for 8 years. And then, during a motorbike tour of France he happened to stay behind and settle in Nantes, where he put his talents to the test at a local brewery. In search of sunshine and eager to be closer to his native Italy, Michele moved on to discover La TUF in Cotignac. Here he finds a new creative freedom, brewing small batches of beer with unique, diverse, and local flavours.
